Damian Bebell

For the past 20 years, Dr. Damian Bebell has helped teachers, educational leadership, and policymakers leverage research and reflection to more effectively support technology rich educational settings. As a research professor at Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development and senior research associate at the Center of the Study or Testing, Evaluation, and Educational Policy (CSTEEP), Damian has helped schools across the world design and conduct research-based inquiries to inform their technology investments and help evolve teaching and learning practices. Damian is a frequent speaker and author of numerous articles, book chapters, as well as The School Mission Statement (Routledge Press), showcasing how local vision can illuminate (or limit) efforts to measure success. Damian is currently teaching at Wesleyan University where he serves as a visiting assistant professor in the College of Education Studies and co-founder and co-director of the Purpose of School research lab, with Dr. Steve Stemler.

Christine is a recent graduate of Boston College with a double major in linguistics and computer science. Since January of 2021, she's helped with developing the websites and dashboards for a number of projects including ALS, ARIS, and ADS. She's currently working as a teaching assistant in Germany.

Kayla Burt

Kayla Burt (KB) serves as a Data Research Analyst at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where she works on projects forand with students, staff, faculty, and external community partners. She has presented her work at various national and international conferences, such as the NASPA Assessment, Planning, and Data Analytics Conference, the North East Association for Institutional Research (NEAIR) Conference, and the Information Seeking in Context (ISIC) Conference. She earned her master's degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University in 2020 and pursued further studies in Data Analytics at Boston College. Currently, KB is pursuing a PhD in Information Science at the University at Buffalo and is a member of the Graduate Student Issues Committee (GSIC) of the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME). Her research interests include information behavior and human-computer interaction within the college admissions process, focusing on both prospective students and evaluators.
